The History of Coins at the library

The St. Marys Community Public Library will be hosting The History of Coins with Examples of U.S. Coins on Thursday, June 15 at 1:00 p.m. The program will be presented by Gordon Coffin, a member of the Tri-County Coin Club. Coffin will give a history of coinage and show examples. Coffin has been collecting coins for over 70 years and has coins dating back to about 600 B.C.
