Wapakoneta by Moonlight

The Auglaize County Historical Society will host walking tours of historic downtown Wapakoneta on Tuesday, July 16, at 7 and 9 pm. The tours are free and open to the public.  Attendees should meet at the northeast corner of the Courthouse block (Willipie and Mechanic streets) shortly before the tour’s start time.  The tours are part of the Historical Society’s contribution to Wapakoneta by Moonlight, an evening of late night shopping, dining, live music, and other special activities to kick off the annual Summer Moon Festival.   Downtown Wapakoneta has been listed in the National Register of Historic Places for well over 30 years because of its architectural and historical significance.
