Autumn is Great at Grand Lake

The sunsets are spectacular, the fishing is great and fall brings plenty of fun to the Greater Grand Lake Visitors Region.  Check out the pelicans and other migratory waterfowl as they stop by the lake on their way to warmer climes for the winter. A walk along the Miami-Erie Canal towpath is a great way to enjoy nature with all the colors of fall on display. AND don’t forget about the food. Fall flavors abound in local restaurants, coffee shops and farm markets.

As the weather cools a bit the festival fun heats up!  Make plans to enjoy the Wapakoneta Craft Beer Festival (9/18), the New Bremen Pumpkinfest (9/24 & 25), the Grand Lake Marathon (9/25), the Minster Oktoberfest (10/1-3) the Fall Walk with Nature along the Miami-Erie Canal (10/17) and the Wapakoneta Halloween Parade (10/21) the largest Halloween parade in Northwest Ohio. You can find the details on all these events and more at www.SeeMore.org.  Don’t miss the sights, sounds and fun of the Grand Lake Region in the fall. Plan your  getaway today!
