Grand Lake Civil War Roundtable

Harry Frech will be speaking to the Grand Lake Civil War Roundtable

about the Civil War experiences of a Rockford area man.

Prisoner of the Rebels in Texas_ is Corporal Aaron Sutton’s

personal account of his capture and incarceration in two Confederate

prison camps and his attempts at escape to Union lines. Frech will

talk about the book and give his critique of it.

The presentation will be at the Richardson Bretz Building, 119 W.

Fulton Street, Celina, 7:15 PM, Thursday, April 22. It is open to the

public.
