The Auglaize County Historical Society will present “The Houses of St. Marys in the 1920s” with ACHS administrator Rachel Barber on Tuesday, February 8, at 7 pm, on the Historical Society Facebook page.
The St. Marys Community Public Library first commissioned Barber to create the program in 2021, in conjunction with the library’s centennial anniversary. In this highly illustrated program Barber will review the wide variety of architectural styles represented by local houses of the early 20th century.
States Barber, “Inasmuch as the community is planning its bicentennial for 2023, we thought that a look back at St. Marys’ centennial era would be interesting and informative for local residents.”
To access the event, simply go to the Auglaize County Historical Society’s Facebook page (also accessible via https://www.facebook.com/AuglaizeCountyHistory ) a little before 7pm on February 8. The program will appear as the most current post on the page. Make sure you adjust your volume (on the screen), if needed.
